Franck Letournel, CHU d'Angers

At the end of a clinical fellowship at the University Hospital of Angers, dedicated to Neurology, I took the oportunity to turn to Neuropathology training. This led me to complete a semester of fellowship in the Laboratory of Neuropathology (Pitié-Salpêtrière; Paris) and to hold a position of research assistant at McGill University (Laboratory of Neuropathology and Cell Biology, Pr GJ Snipes; Montreal, Canada).

Since 2001, I practice neuropathology in the unity of Neurobiology and Neuropathology of which I am responsible. Our team joined the NeuroCEB network in 2018 because we believe this participation is of paramount important for research but also to improve the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases and thus the management of patients.
